Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and AI Ventures, LLC (“AI Ventures,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), which operates the independent product studio Business Vacation from San Diego, California. By using businessvacation.com or by receiving text messages from us, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the site or the messaging program.
Our products are governed by their own terms. Nothing here grants rights to X1 Wealth, Minutes, or RxVIP Network.
Using the site
This site is informational. You may read it, link to it, and contact us through it. You may not use it to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it in a way that degrades service, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with us.
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the site at any time.
Intellectual property
The site’s text, design, and marks are owned by AI Ventures, LLC or its licensors. You may quote short excerpts with attribution. Everything else requires our written permission. Open source projects we publish are governed by the licenses in their repositories.
SMS messaging terms
Program description. AI Ventures, LLC, doing business as Business Vacation, operates a notification messaging program. Our own automated systems and our small team send operational and status notifications by SMS to individuals who have explicitly requested them — typically the studio’s own operators and people who have asked us to notify them directly. This is not a marketing or promotional program.
Consent. You receive messages only after you provide your mobile number and agree to receive texts at it. Consent is not a condition of purchasing anything. You may withdraw consent at any time.
- Message frequency varies. Messages are sent when a notifiable event occurs.
- Message and data rates may apply. Charges come from your mobile carrier, not from us.
- To stop: reply STOP to any message. You will receive one confirmation, and then no further messages.
- For help: reply HELP to any message, or email mat@businessvacation.com.
Carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.
Your number. You confirm that you are the subscriber or authorized user of the number you give us, and you agree to tell us if that number changes or is reassigned.
Privacy. Mobile numbers and SMS consent data are never sold and never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy for details.
Email updates
If you subscribe to an email list, you may unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message or by emailing us.
Third-party links
The site links to sites we do not control, including GitHub, LinkedIn, and our products’ own sites. We are not responsible for their content, terms, or privacy practices.
Disclaimers
The site and the messaging program are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing on this site is financial, legal, medical, or tax advice.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, AI Ventures, LLC and its members, officers, and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the site or the messaging program. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site or the messaging program will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100).
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify AI Ventures, LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The effective date at the top of this document always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the site or the messaging program after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. The state and federal courts located in San Diego County, California have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
